Saturday, September 16, 2006: Doors Open Ontario event for the Kitchener-Waterloo region
Station 2 Studios is proudly part this year's event.
Ground floor studios, retail gallery and the tower will be open to visitors. Also, the Wilmot Heritage Fire Brigade Museum of Baden,
Ontario is participating with us by parking their 1939 Bickle Seagrave Pumper fire truck on site for the event (bright, sunny day only as the cab is open).
The Kitchener Professional Firefighters' Association will be displaying their 1935 LaFrance Pumper fire truck as well.
Also, on Saturday, September 16th (10am to 5pm) and to Sunday, September 17, 2006 (12 noon to 5pm):
In conjunction with Doors Open Ontario, Kitchener-Waterloo event, Station 2 Studios are holding their first ART ON FIRE! event
featuring talented local artists - painters, potters, watercolourist, jewellry, mixed media, furniture design, fashion accessories
etc. Artists include Amy Williams, John Skoritsch, Lynne Mack, Catherine Winter, Jean Marshall, Barbara Fauth Lange, Stuart Campbell, Cheryl Mack,
Karoline Varin-Jarkowski, Bill Corning, Linda Perez, Soheila Esfahani and Available Space Art Project (ASAP), Antoinette Rodighiero
and Brian Bee. Neighbouring artists will also be involved in Arts on Fire! including Victorian Art Glass, Denise Strong of Behind the
Red door, Gay Isper of Sugarbeads and Dan Weaver of Nature's Design to name a few.
